Our winery is located on the beautiful tropical island of Sanibel/Captiva in southwest Florida, where you’re always on ‘Island Time’. Here in the Village Shops you will enjoy the most unique of shopping experiences in a very relaxed atmosphere.

Sanibel Tropical Wines features daily wine tasting, wine sales and unique accessories not found elsewhere on the island. With our helpful staff, you are assured to enjoy your favorite fruit flavors from our ultra-premium, specialty wines. Our citrus and berry wines are made from the highest quality, 100% pure Florida citrus fruits and berries grown in Florida.

It can take as much as 9 pounds of citrus fruit to give us enough juice to make just 1 bottle of our Mango, Key Lime, Grapefruit and Tangerine wines. Our wines are produced from only the finest natural ingredients and contain only 25% of the sulfites normally found in grape wines and do not contain tannins (except for the Muscadine grape varieties) which are attributed to some allergic reactions to wine.

To date our wines have won 199 medals at national and international wine competitions. The success of our wines is attributed to the quality of the fruit used, picked only at peak season and the alchemy of a fine wine maker.

Since its inception, more than 65 years ago, the Florida Citrus Commission has never granted use of the "Florida Sunshine Tree" licensing mark on beverages other than orange and grapefruit juice until January of 2000 when it was granted to our vintner for use on all of our citrus wines.
